Candle Making Workshops

Create your own beautifully fragranced candle with Ursula, founder of Wax & Willow.

• I offer regular candle-making workshops at Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens, with dates, availability and booking details available online.

• I also offer private and bespoke candle-making workshops for corporate events, team building, birthdays, hen parties, celebrations, friend get-togethers and other special occasions.

• Private workshops can be held at a venue of your choice — I’m happy to travel — and each workshop can be tailored to suit your event, group size and requirements.

What to Expect

​

During the workshop, you’ll be guided through the candle-making process, learning about different types of wax, fragrance and a little of the science behind creating a beautiful scented candle.

You’ll then choose your fragrance from a seasonal selection, prepare and wick your vessel, blend your fragrance and pour your very own candle.

Once your candle has been poured, you can enjoy some refreshments while your candle begins to set and customise your gift box. You’ll then be able to take home your own beautifully crafted candle to enjoy.

Bespoke Workshops

Every private workshop can be customised to suit your event. Whether you are planning a corporate event, team-building activity, birthday, hen party, celebration, friends' get-together or another special occasion, I can create a workshop around your needs.

I can tailor the fragrances, presentation and workshop format to suit your event, and I’m happy to work with you to create something completely bespoke.

Group Sizes & Larger Events

​

• Minimum group size: 8 people

• Up to 15 people per workshop

• For larger events, I can accommodate multiple workshop sessions with a quick turnaround, allowing larger groups to take part as part of the same event.

• I’m happy to discuss the best format for your venue and number of guests.
